The use of clinker bricks reclaimed from old industrial buildings and historic structures has grown increasingly popular in recent years. These bricks have already travelled a long journey — many have even survived two world wars. Their deep history, combined with their characteristic color variations, makes each brick a one-of-a-kind, high-quality original. They add a personal, individual touch to any home or exterior façade — far removed from today’s mass-produced building materials.

We offer almost exclusively clinker bricks around 100 years old, originally produced in Germany and the Netherlands at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century.

Each brick is painstakingly recovered by hand from old buildings and industrial sites, then carefully cleaned of plaster and debris. Having been exposed to the elements for decades, our clinkers are naturally weathered and completely free from efflorescence.

Our bricks are packed neatly and sorted by type — not as random mixes from various demolition sites — and delivered on standard Euro-pallets. To ensure consistently high quality, every batch of industrial clinkers is thoroughly tested before recovery by the Institute for Brick Research (Institut für Ziegelforschung e.V.) in Essen. The tests include measurements of density, water absorption, and durability. Only bricks that meet the institute’s strict standards and receive official certification are included in our product range.

Our solid bricks are used in both single-family homes and large-scale construction projects. They are ideal for restoring historic buildings and monument conservation, while also enhancing interior spaces with timeless character. Outside, they provide durable protection against rain, wind, and weather — all while adding unmatched aesthetic value.
